We need to paint the newly installed shade structures over the picnic tables at the trailhead.
It should be pretty easy, and 6 volunteers should be enough, but 8 would be better. We can camp overnight in case we need to finish up the next morning. Bring old clothes. Lunch will be provided on Saturday. If you camp overnight, dinner and Sunday breakfast will be on you. All paint, rollers, trays, brushes, etc will be provided.

Jeff Gilkey will be presenting his "dome" video "Over New Mexico and the Southwest, Part1" at the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) Planetarium on Saturday, April 25, 2026. This video was originally shown at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History Planetarium in May, 2022. This event is hosted by EAA chapter 691 and the meeting, open to the public, will start with a coffee social at 10:30 followed by the presentation at 11:00. Full details in the formated description.
